Josh's PT Score

He PASSED!!! He wasn't sure he was going to be able to PT today because when he got to work the Air Force deemed it "too cold" to PT today. He kept checking back all morning and finally just after 10:00am the temperature finally peaked just about 34 degrees.

He lost 1" off his waste tape measurement, completed his push-ups and sit-ups with no problem and then went to do his run! He said that as he crossed the finish line they called out the number 24, he thought that meant he ran 13 minutes and 24 seconds meaning he passed (barely). And, he was thrilled!

Then as he cooled off he realized they had handed him the number card 24 (what he turns in to get his score) and they hadn't called his time. He said they only call your time if you pass... so he figured he had failed. He said his heart just sunk, he didn't even know how he was going to face himself, let alone call me, and tell his first Sargent. Thus he slowly trotted back to turn in his number, with his head hung. He handed his number card in and asked what his time ended up being, the woman with the clip board answered him with a 3:14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Josh said he nearly fell over!

He passed, and improved his overall score to 82.60! I am so proud of him, I can't wait for him to get home tonight so I can take him out to get some food! :)
