About Me

To start I suppose I should introduce myself, my name is Adrienne, I’m 22 years old, and have lived and long, hard and marvelous life. I am currently married to the most wonderful man on earth. We have a daughter who is 5 weeks old, and already growing so fast!
Growing up my father was in the Army until I was 9 years old. During which time we lived in 9 states and in Soule Korea. Thus as a young child I learned a lot about people, culture, and geography. I loved moving around and as a teenager had a hard time planting my feet on the ground. I often found the need to just “take off” and go somewhere, out of the city, or to a bigger city. I have visited New York on a number of occasions; I’ve also been to Detroit, Boston, Houston, Bandon OR, Portland, Las Vegas, and Las Angels, by myself; simply for the soul reason of “I could”.
My father got out of the military and bought a rockshop when I was 9 years old. There I learned about geology, gemology, metephysiology, and more. I love working with him and hope someday to take over his establishment.
I was homeschooled until I was 16, and then decided I wanted a high school degree, thus I enrolled myself in high school and took early morning classes, regular classes, and after school classes to finish my degree in the 3 semesters left to me. I graduated with honors 10th in my class of 263.
Shortly after high school I moved to Ogden to attend Weber State University, where I was offered a scholarship, both for my academics and for participating with the debate team. I started my degree in Marketing, which I indented to use for pre-law; with the hopes of eventually practicing in the field of International Business Law.
I finished all but 2 semesters of my bachelors degree, when I got involved with the “wrong crowed” and stopped getting along with my parents. I was a few months from my 19th birthday, when I broke ties with my family over a very long and rough relationship with my adopted sister. I ended up living in my car, and dropping out of college.
I was able to get a job at Continental Airlines, working for the COOLEST boss ever… while I was there I met my, now, husband. We dated for just over one and a half years, before we were married October 10th 2007. We were married at my mother-in-law’s beautiful log cabin home in Midway, Utah.
More about me would be:
I write poetry, especially when I can’t seem to get my thoughts to line up. I ice skate (although I haven’t gone sense we moved to California). I go walking or jogging everyday, and have for years. I didn’t stop when I got pregnant, and I went the day after I had my baby, I don’t plan on ever stopping. I had my first child at home, and my husband delivered her, and if I have any more children I will have them at home as well. I love to go camping, I love trying new foods (anything you call food I’ll try at least once), I am religious but I hate institutions so I have a hard time going to church. I love photography, and have albums of pictures I’ve taken. I sew costumes, read anything I can get my hands on, debate politics, study Egyptian history, study the art of message, cook, and if I’m not happy you’ll find me on my hands and knees cleaning the floors with a toothbrush. I love life, but am extremely cynical. And lastly, I don’t mind telling you exactly what I think… but you might mind hearing it, so I’ll keep it to myself until I know if you can handle me.
