The Car Catastrophe

So our second car was a hand me down and it was old no doubt, but it worked great! Until last week.... then Josh was on his way to work and called me to say that the car wasn't driving very well and it kept making a loud clicking noise.

Him and my father came to the same thought... it had thrown a rod. We were hoping this wasn't the case seems how they are expesive to fix and with Josh not having a steady job and steady income right now; and well my job being somewhat wishy washy with income... we just couldn't afford to fix it.

Well guess what... IT HAD! It had thrown a rod. And, when we got a quote as to what it would be to fix it, the quote was almost twice what the car is worth. So we have decided to forgo the repairs and go back to having one car. Sounds like a sad story right?

It is... only there's a silver lining. We are now forced to have me stay home more! Poor me, having to stay home with my babies, playing matching games, reading, building tents, making home cooked meals, snitching fishy crackers with Evie. Yes this is defiantly going to be difficult! It's amazing how life gives you what you want sometimes. Not the package I would have chosen, but I'll take the contents all the same :)
