Brandon's B-Day Party

This afternoon we took Evie to Brandon Bastian's 5th birthday party! It was held at the Lakepoint McDonald's in Tooele! Evie and Daddy picked out a remote control Dinosaur as a present for him... I"m not sure who had a harder time giving it up, Evie who wanted to open the box, or her father who thought it might not be a horrible idea for him to give it a test run first - "just to make sure it worked"!

We had so much fun, Evie got her first McDonald's Happy Meal and got to play on the slides! She wanted to participate so much, but had fun watching as the older children ran around and played! She had become much more interactive lately, and several times (IE: Last Sunday at GG's house with Tanessa's children, today at the birthday party, and this evening at the baby bash) interacted with children ages 4 though 9 and had a blast! She is learning to share, taking instructions (as well as giving them), and trying to figure out on what level she fits in! It's adorable to see her learning to be so independent!

As G.G. pointed out last Sunday "she just seems like she's ok being one of the big kids". We are so happy to have friends with children this age that she can play and learn with. She is so precious to us, and these moments let us all grow! :) Happy Birthday Brandon! And, I love you my little pirate!
